A Pastor's Anniversary With a Message!

Make Me Over is the first play released by Playhouse Ministries in 2005- with plenty of laughs and lessons.

I can't tell you how many emails I've received requesting ideas for a pastor's appreciation or anniversary.  I've been wanting to do something for a while but I knew that it had to be inspired by the Lord- so I waited until He gave it to me.

This play offers the unique perspective of what happens between worship services.  I wanted to present the pastor and first lady as they are- real people who work hard at what they do but also have their own challenges and struggles.  So many people don't consider what it takes to lead a church and I wrote this play to honor that.  It also has some very funny moments as it moves toward an altar call at the end.

Requires 3 adult females,  I adult male, 1 teenage boy, and 1 teenage girl  as the main characters (you also have the leverage to increase the age of the teenage couple). Suggestions for using a mime ministry is also included throughout the play.  Approximate running time is 40 minutes.  The use of CD player fed through the sound system is required.
